About Us

Hello, my name is Mark Wright and I will be your teacher if you choose Habling English. I am from Norwich in the East of England and have been in Barcelona for 8 years. I am Cambridge CELTA qualified and have taught in-company English classes for many well established academies, both in Barcelona and the industrial belt.

My Background

I obtained my Cambridge English Language Teaching Certificate in December 2002. Before that I had worked for 6 years in the telecoms industry for British Telecom. I worked with people speaking English as a second language in meetings and conferences in many European countries. I have spoken and given presentations at many conferences myself, something which my students often find useful when planning presentations in English. I spent a year working in Germany with a multinational workforce and gained valuable experience understanding the language issues and especially why British people are often the most difficult to understand.
